Touring Scotland with the EV - Day 3

Day 3 (Tuesday, 4th October)

From Scarborough we planned to drive at least as far as Sunderland and we achieved this arriving at Ashington, and the Half Moon Inn. We covered about 100 miles today along the costal route.

The B & B accommodation was basic but clean and adequate for a one night stop on route. The evening meal and breakfast in the restaurant were both very good. With a few hours to look around we headed for the sea and a small place we had never heard of called Newbiggin-By-The-Sea, it also boasted an electric car charger so we thought we would check it out.

Walking along the beach was very bracing, sunny day if a little windy. Then walking along the River Wansbeck Riverside Park later in the day

A good place for a break in our journey, before moving on to Scotland.
Thanks for looking
