A Card for Baby

I blogged about new baby Esme last week, and have been trying to get time to make her a card. I had a busy weekend but on Sunday evening I got the Cricut out and made this for her. I popped it in the post on Monday so I hope it has arrived with Amy and Martin and little Esme by now. I'm enjoying following her progress on Facebook.

I used some very old papers from the Nursery set by Daisy D's - I love these and I'm down to the last few scraps now. Such pretty shades of lemon and pink, but distressed at the same time. The butterfly buttons are from Doodlebug Designs Inc. The letters are cut with the 'All Mixed Up' Cricut Cartridge. Shadowed and inked. I added plenty of Stickles glitter, perfect pearls, and flat backed pearls and gems. The corners were cut with the Jazz corner punch from EK Success.

  3. So very pretty, Lynn and very contemporary also! Exactly like the cards you would see in the shops, except of course this one is 1000 x times better, being personalised and handmade! I also love the extra texture you've added - really subtle, but it has a great effect.
