On 8th August is was the 25th wedding anniversary of our friends Hilary and Mark. I have known Hilary since my secondary school days as we were both involved with guiding. I made a card very similar to the one I made for Alan, for our silver wedding back in May. I was pleased with the way the first one turned out, it uses lots of Craftwork Cards products. 1984 was a busy year for weddings in our circle of friends.
Hilary and Mark were also staying in Suffolk last week, they had a cottage in Orford. We went to visit them on Wednesday and had lunch at their place. Then we all went for a walk through the countryside to the river, then back through the village - stopping for ice cream!
Then on Thursday they came to visit us in the afternoon, so I baked a cake. The oven here is so good at cakes! We had tea and cake then went for a bike ride in the forest to shed some calories. In the evening we all went out for a lovely meal. Two days of great company, food and venues.
